At a point in this beautiful life of mine, I was so unhappy and just couldn't find anything internal that could give me joy. I felt empty and didn't realize (probably because I didn't seek to explore my potentials, strengths and all) that i was amazing and unique. So, there I was, distraught, feeling useless and always looking for people who could......
bring me some joy. It often got more terrible when there was none of "those people" around...Arrrrrgh. You don't want to taste that kind of killing boredom, but if you're struggling with this, then this is for you.
I've been there, I hate to admit but I just was so insensitive to myself that I totally lost my joy.
It may be that you don't feel good enough or you think you're not smart enough or beautiful enough or whatsoever like I used to think, but puh...leeeze. Give yourself a break. You deserve more than thinking less of yourself. You carry a whole lot within that is more than enough to keep you constantly joyous and even infect others around you. Let's do a little count.
How do you feel when you help someone with something that person was in dire need of? Like a Hero, huh?
How do you feel when you buy yourself a gift? Special, right?
Isn't all of this telling you something? Telling you that by mere loving yourself some more, mere creating some time to be with yourself for the sole purpose of discovering everything you carry inside, that you can find some joy.
So baby girl, drop all those luggage of regrets, for once, let go of all the guilt, seek to move forward and make yourself a project like a newly discovered oil well. Wouldn't you want to find out if aside the crude oil that's evident, if some bitumen or some platinum or some other wonderful thing is present.
Honey, there's a whole lot you carry...find them and find your joy.
You can start with writing yourself a romantic love letter. Crazy!!!....but you gotta try it. Don't be a pollyana while you're at it.
